Well, I like to get all my facts confirmed before stating them as facts.

Like, maybe he was just associated with the band because they needed to compete with Star Trek's Walter "Ensign Pavel Chekov" Koenig to try and cash in on the younger sci-fi viewer.

And, you can't rule out the media. You know how they like to mis-report or mis-represent things.
