Hello,
I'm trying my hand at setting up an ubuntu ltsp server (11.04) / thin client environment. Everything appears to be working. Thin client boots via PXE. Log in completes successfully. Desktop looks normal. Applications run great although I can't get in to any of the items from the system menu. Authentication always fails even when logged in with the admin user.
What's not working is any files created and saved are gone when the client is rebooted. Nothing is being written to the server. Two users are set up. One as a user. The other as an admin. Same result with both.
I've only using ubuntu for a couple months so I have no idea where to go from here. Spent a couple days searching for an answer and came up empty.
