okay guys with all the fuse about unity being this and that blah blah of which I find it cruel as unity is great. so at this point I decided to use Cairo dock as a DE just to give myself an alternative... I find it amazing and sleek but I need help bringing the window menus back from the global menu as when I am in Cairo dock I can't access them and I need, all I need a way to make the application menu appear in the dock then I would be complete.
question: is Cairo-dock as a DE lighter than Unity?
