Just curious if it's possible to re-partition the harddrive once i have 2 OSs installed. I would like the new OS (another flavor of Linux) to have more room since i pretty much only use Ubuntu to surf the internet, etc.

So my question is, is it possible to simply change the partition to reduce Ubuntu's portion of the harddrive? Or am i looking at a complete reinstall for both?

I'm willing to do either, but obviously just changing the partition size would be less grief & time consumption. As always any and all help from you folks would be greatly appreciated.[-o<

It is possible, but any resizing of partitions does carry a level of risk. So you would need a full backup of your data for both OSs.

If you want more opinions (advice), post a layout of your disk, a screenshot of Gparted for example, and we can work with that.
