Upgrade/install pulseaudio 1.1 on 11.04

Hi, I've been having issues with wine and pulse (shocker, i know), and it seems to solution is simply to update pulse audio to 1.1. However, I can't for the life of me get it to work! Whenever I use apt-get it says the newest version is like 0.9 something, which is not true, but when i try to compile it from source I get make compile errors (after spending a good hour finding all the dependencies it said it needed). So... I realize this is a noob question but how do I upgrade my pulse audio to 1.1 on natty?? Is there a build dependencies command for it, or a package i am unaware of? Any help would be terriffic!

Hmm... uh.... I guess I posted this in the wrong section, but I have no idea how to delete a thread. I'll jsut repost my question in the sound section, so if someone could delete this I would be very much obliged.
