I did an install of Fedora 16 to its own set of partitions, followed by Ubuntu 11.10 to its own set of partitions.
I am using Ubuntu 11.10 Grub2 and I can happily boot either Fedora or Ubuntu, no problems there.
In /etc/defaults/grub.cfg (think that is the name), I have set "quiet, splash".
Ubuntu boots and is "quiet" and shows the "splash" screen.
But...Fedora is anything but "quiet" and does not show its "splash" screen.
I really would like Fedora to be quiet on boot and therefore would appreciate please any assistance/guidance that you guys might have to achieve a nice and quiet Fedora boot!
