I am trying to install spoonwep and spoonwpa onto ubuntu 11.10 i use these programs for pentesting for various clients and i feel slightly stupid for not knowing how to solve this issue but i have downloaded the file spoonwep-wpa-rc3.deb and i opened a terminal and typed in the command sudo dpkg -i spoonwep-wpa-rc3.deb and hit enter then typed in my password as directed and i keep getting the error version number does not start with digit when it comes up it looks like this

whtrvn666@system32:~$ sudo dpkg -i spoonwep-wpa-rc3.deb
dpkg: error processing spoonwep-wpa-rc3.deb (--install):
parsing file '/var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci/control' near line 2 package 'spoonwep-spoonwpa-modified':
error in Version string 'BT3': version number does not start with digit
Errors were encountered while processing:
spoonwep-wpa-rc3.deb

could anyone help me fix this issue that i am currently experiencing? thank you
