Hello I have a x6 1055T currently clocked @ 3.8GHZ with stock voltage and just a few other volatages set a little higher. I was wondering, what voltages should I modify? NB? HT? No matter what I do, I cant get stable 4GHZ. Ive set the HT speed to around 2000. Ram is below stock, and the CPU bus is at 276 i think, 286 is 4GZ. ANy help or advice is appreciated! Thanks. I'm using an ASUS 870 AM3 MB (2010) it's the evo edition.

Also, CPU cooling is not the issue, I have a Cooler Master Hyper 212+ cooler, with a noctua fan running at full speed.

So the CPU core voltage is still stock? That would be the first thing I suspect is holding you back. You can only do so much with stock voltage (and 3.8GHz isn't bad at all).

Yeah, I've tried, but still no joy.

Well, if you're keeping temps and HTT/RAM speed in check and voltage bumps don't help, what else can you do? Just because some chips hit 4GHz, doesn't mean yours will. (My Phenom II X3 won't boot with the fourth core enabled, life's tough! :P )

I'm just afraid to bump it passed 1.55V, It's currently in the mb "safe" level.

Okay, so I jumped the voltage in bios to 1.6 something. I ram prime95 and now have it stabled at 3.93Ghz. It runs at a max of 48 degrees C, with a delta T of only 25 Degrees. Im buying a water block today, so what is the maximum safe voltage? Also in the bios the voltage is 1.6XX, but in windows using CPUZ it says 1.5XX? And yes Cool N Quiet is disabled.
