Hi All,
I would like to get rid of the unity-2d-panel, because it is not really customisable, and I believe that all the relevant functionalities can be transferred to screenlets. However, I would still like to keep a strip of the display clean, so that even maximised windows would leave it uncovered. Is there a way to prevent applications from using specific parts of the screens? I use compiz as the window manager.
