hello everybody!
I have ubuntu 10.10 and I would like to know I can remove the menu bar's logo, next to "applications":

[img] http://ubuntrucchi.files.wordpress.com/2008/03/aggiungere-elemento-menu-1.png?w=600 [/ img]

I can replace it with a transparent picture of the same size, but this leaves an empty squared space... which is awful >.<
I want to get rid of that logo ... ._.

is there a way to do that?
thanks in advance for your answers :)

Hello and Welcome

You can change the icon and the folder with the image to be changed is probably in file system usr/share/icons . you will have to locate the folder inside the icon in use set and replace the image using the exact name.

If you should decide to use a different icon set changing the image for that will be required also .

this would leave a blank space of 24x24 pixels ._.
