Hi,

I recently had to create a customized initrd for Ubuntu 10.04 so I could load in the MegaRAIDSAS9260 driver. When I created this initrd it was for kernel 2.6.32-33-generic, when I upgrade the kernel to 2.6.32-38 I know a new initrd is loaded into /boot but is there something in the upgrade process which identifies the fact that there are new drivers in the initrd and loads them into the new initrd for the newly upgraded kernel.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I haven't ever had a need to do this before.
