verification of instal problem

so my problem is when i instaled the ubuntu 10.04 in my netbook with win 7, the instalation is ok but when the system verifi the instalation and search at server hour for configuration but i hope to much time for this and just show ans one windows change....

Can you give me a point by point description of what happened when you tried to install Ubuntu?
