Skype high hard disk i/o

Hey

I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 on Dell Latitude E6220. When I'm running Skype my hard disk i/o is high and my computer idle for few minutes. I've verified with iotop that is really Skype.
How could I debug this problem?

I've bad blocks. so this problem was hardware and not software.
