I'm trying to use Freevo, and by default it's using mplayer, but mplayer has no sound and seems to have a couple video problems too. Meanwhile, VLC works perfectly on my system, so I want to just get Freevo to use that.
I changed the 'prefered video player' to 'vlc' in my conf file, but it has no effect.
How can I get Freevo to use VLC for video?
