Unable to Set Wallpaper on 11.10 64-bit

I've HPElite Book , Mem 4GB, Intel Core 2Duo CPU T9600 @2.8GHZx2
and I'm running oneric 11.10 64 bit os on it.

I've faced multiple problems so far like Mouse Hangs , Sometimes some application don't respond on mouse click and then i've to kill those apps and relaunch them or restart my pc.

Now This thread is regarding settin up of wallpaper , I am unable to set wallpaper , can anyone help me?

Just open Appearance settings from the Dash, then click the "+" button under the list of wallpapers to add your own.
