I've been looking for an alternative to Gnome3/unity, and took a look at xubuntu a little while back. As a programmer, I like to use virtual desktops, and I also like it to be two dimensional, so I can have, say, 2 rows by 3 or more columns (or vice versa). It seemed like xfce only allowed one row, but I'm wondering if I may have missed something.
Does anyone know if it allows 2 or more rows? Of course, it also needs easy switching between them.
NEVER MIND. :(
I looked again, and found it right away. Don't know where I looked before, but this time, I right-clicked on the workspaces icon on the taskbar, and found the properties that changes it. I'm surprised it wasn't together with the number of workspaces, though.
