Hy !

I have a small but rather annoying problem : whenever I start my xubuntu machine, there are 4 programs opening right away : firefox, 2 terminals and the trashcan.

I have absolutely no idea why these four and have tried to tick / untick the "Save session" option without any success (it doesn't seem to do anything).
I also inspected the files in /usr/share/xsession/ and couldn't notice anything unsual.

Any ideas ?

Thank you very much !

Applications Menu -> Settings -> Session & startup -> Session ( tab )

There You will have list of programs & conditions when they are started on startup of system.

Change "Restart style" to "Never" for the applications that You don't want to start automatically.

Thanks ! That did the trick, even if I removed a bit too much it seems and now have lost my composition manager, but that is another problem ^^ !

Thanks a lot !!!
