Im getting more and more interesting in creating a custom live disc, probably based on morphix [where Ubuntu Live Disc was based on], so I was wondering if anyone here (besides Ubuntu developpers :P) has ever attempted this and how hard would you judge this process to be?

I'd like to create live discs mostly for some friends that have never used linux, with their background and specific favorite windows apps ports installed, for them to get into the linux way, as most of them wouldnt install ubuntu on theyre drives for the world.

I was reviewing morphix's forums, but theyre not nearly as informative as the ones Ubuntu has :) .

I think I heard that there's a program in Hoary for that. Either that or it was planned for Hoary.

Is it any coincidence that Hoary and Hooray differ only by one letter?
