Where can I buy a laptop that comes without any OS, optionally that it comes with a (any) Linux-distro pre-installed.

Another criteria would be that I would like a Swedish keyboard-layout on this laptop. That's the main-reason I'm asking over here, most vendors I've checked up so far only has US. keyboards. I find this kinda annoying, don't wanna be forced to buy Windows when I don't ever use it.

Post what you find. The landscape is unfortunately constantly changing.

Keep in mind that if worse comes to worse you should be able to get a Windows Refund:

Thanks for the link, I couldn't find anything like that.. damn you internet-bubble! I'm not going to buy a laptop just yet, probably in a month or two, just thought I'd do some research before-hand.

I'll make sure to post whatever laptop I get my hands on. :-)

you should also check out zareason: http://zareason.com/shop/Laptops/

they build the devices to be compatible with ubuntu, mint, debian, and fedora. you can also buy with no operating system.

i've never purchased from them myself, but i've heard wonderful things. they're based in berkeley (CA, USA) so you might have to play a little bit for the shipping... but it sounds like it might be the perfect option for you.
