I'm unsure if I'm posting this in the right place and if not I apologize. I'm having trouble getting a D-Link DWL-122 USB wireless card to work with my Compaq Presario 1681 running Knoppix 4.0.2 with a multi-user configured installation.
When I attempt to use ndiswrapper, I select the .inf driver I downloaded from D-Link's site. After I click OK, nothing happens. Knoppix doesn't seem to be able to recognize the card at all. I got the card to work successfully under Damn Small Linux by just clicking the Prism2 button. I'm fairly new to Linux and am not really sure where to go from here. Any help would be deeply appreciated.
