Hello Everyone!
I just installed 11.10 (64-bit) on my laptop and everything is working great except one thing, the mouse touchpad is not working, so right now I am using a USB wireless mouse. How can I fix this issue so I don't have to lug around a mouse every where I go.

Weird. It's supposed to have a rather ordinary PS/2 trackpad. What do you see on the Touchpad tab of the Mouse Settings window?

I don't know what happened.. I installed Ubuntu on the system and it worked and then all of the sudden stopped. Then I posted this and then restarted the machine a few hours later and then everything was fine. Sooo it's all good now. Haha
Thanks for replying!

Yeah, in that case, it was probably simply turned off. You might not have a hardware switch for the trackpad, but you probably have an Fn keystroke to turn it on and off.
