tried wubi, got this

any thoughts?

bump. I have no disc drive on this box and no flash drive so wubi is my only option for now. Does anyone know how to get around this error?

just assume it id after you installed linux with wubi?

or is it just when trying to install?

Hi,
this is a well documented bug and is usually related to a card reader.

Just click through the error messages and the installation should continue normally.

Let us know what happens.

I haven't installed anything yet, this error pops up immediately after starting wubi.

I click cancel, try again or continue then the box closes and pops back up until I kill the process.
