using Ubuntu 11.10 and the Remina remote application, i log in remotely to the Ubuntu and start firefox and a terminal.

back on the actual system? there is no terminal, no firefox, and if i click on the firefox icon it says "firefox is already running but just is not ..something.. so you have to end the process or reboot the machine"

The goal is to be on the main Ubuntu system that i was remoting into, and get access to the terminal sessions. i already ended firefox and started again to get internet access but those terminals have error messages i want to get.

Is there a way to "attach" to the open terminals? and is there a way to really emulate how windows does a remote session that actually shows the actual session? in other words, can i setup the main machine so that if i remote into it, it shows a single session, not start a new one thats invisible to the main system?

thanks
