View Full Version : [SOLVED] Upgrade Natty to Kernel 3.2.4 cannot remove old kernel

Installed the newest, latest and greatest 3.2.4-030204-generic-pae
but cannot remove old kernel 2.38.13

Reports broken package when trying to remove.

any ideas welcome

Remove it from synaptic.If it ask you to fix broken packages do so and after that remove old kernel.It shouldn´t be a problem.

Thanks for your reply.

Been there, done that. Being very stubborn about wanting to be removed. I have tried removing through synaptic, fixing broken. Tried Ubuntu-Tweak. It says it is removed but is still there.

Is there any reason I couldn't delete the image folder and header then run update-grub?
