I tried to upgrade to the new 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot. everything downloaded and when it went to install something went wroung. I rebooted and my screen came up "frequency out of range"(its done this since i upgraded 11.04). when it finealy got past that it said
"ubuntu is running in low-graphics mode

your screen, grapics card, and input device settings could not be detected corectly. You will need to configure these yourself"

when i hit ok it comes up with
"what would you like to do?

1. Run low graphics mode for just one session
- when I highlight this and click "ok" it goes to an
endless "frequency out of range"
2. Reconfigure graphics
A. use default (generic) configuration
B. create new confiuration for this hardware
C. use backed-up configuration
3. Troubleshoot the error
A. review the xserver log file
B. review the startup errors
C. edit configuration
D. archive configuration and logs
4. Exit to console
- when I highlight this and click "ok" it goes to an
endless "frequency out of range"
5. Restart X`
- again when I highlight this and click "ok" it goes to an
endless "frequency out of range"
