Installation of Ubuntu on a machine with RAID

Would it be a problem to install ubuntu by creating a partition on a disk which is being "RAID"ed by a windows application (which will work alongside ubuntu)?

Are we talking about BIOS fakeraid?

For best raid support you should use the alternate install cd, not the standard desktop cd.

It should install fine.
