Hi, I just Built a new 64-bit PC and am using Lubuntu on it. And I am wondering if I can transfer 32-bit files (i.e. mp3, m4a, jpeg, jpg, odt, ods, xls, etc.) from a Windows XP Machine to Lubuntu and use them? and what is the best way to transfer all of those files? Without having to open up and remove the hdd of the old XP PC.

>transfer 32-bit files (i.e. mp3, m4a, jpeg, jpg, odt, ods, xls, etc.)<

those are all data files and have nothing to do with 32bit or 64bit

you can copy them to some external drive, usb stick, external drive etc, or make connection via lan or wlan or what ever standard copying procedure fits for you.
