Hi all,

I have a 16 GB SuperTalent PCI-E SSD drive:

...which I want to use as the OS drive for a RAID server box (i.e. Linux only on the SSD, hard drives for RAID).

Problem is I can't seem to find a driver for the card. There is a Windows and Linux driver pack on SuperTalent's website, but there is no "Ubuntu" driver (there is Red Hat and Suse).

I read that the new 3.0 kernel distribution has support for the "mvumi" (Marvell Universal Message Interface) which should support this card, but I don't know where to find it or how to use it.

Trying to install Linux 11.10 with that card in the PC fails because there is no driver for it in the install... and I don't know how or where to find and make a driver disk to add at install time.

I tried to use the Red Hat and Suse drivers... but Ubuntu doesn't like either of them (invalid format is the error).

Anyone know how to solve this problem?

Thanks.....

Still nothing? This problem is ignored here and it's ignored in Launchpad. I wonder why?
