Android 4.o has a nifty voice dictation feature.
It's implemented as a service on Google servers. Android in the handheld is merely a client of the Google voice dictation service.
does Ubuntu have a similar voice dictation service? is anyone working on a client of the google service? this could either be implemented as a special application or as a mod of the Ubuntu user interface tool kit (GTK+ or QT). Android 4.0 is open source so someone could look at the source code to see how it's done. Is that right?
