I cant install ubuntu.

I've managed to get to the purple screen but after, it turns into a black screen with white text. I've tried installing it with: Wubi, USB, CD, all the same result. :/ Help me?

Asus sabertooth x58
Intel Core i7
Nvidia GTX 560Ti

In the options on the first install screen (F6 I think) try choosing 'nomodset' option then install. Sound like probs with the graphics card which could be fixed from a working desktop once you get that far. 'nomodset' should bypass this issue so you can install and get to a desktop.

As Major Bloodnok mentions, what happens when you 'Try Ubuntu' from the install CD? Is it problem free?

It would help solve your problem if you told us what the "white text" says on the screen ...
