Brand spanking new to linux. I did some research before landing here. I found a man page that I think solves my problem but I don't know how to access the kernel configuration file or the loader.conf files to try to make this work. What I have is a P5n-d motherboard which seems to have a bad onboard hd audio chip. Won't work in windows 7 or linux. Disabled on board chip in bios and installed sound blaster live pci card. Any help would be appreciated.
