Yes I have some questions to ask, but first I need to vent.
I just upgraded from 10.x to 11.10.
What in the world happened to this distribution? Unity is what happens when intelligent people lock themselves in a room for too long.
So the solution for a difficult-to-configure interface is to make it an impossible-to-adjust interface?
No, really. I swear whoever is the technical lead for this distro should poke the head out of whatever echo chamber s/he's in and read what happened to Netflix and the long list of companies that royally messed up a promising product by having their own minions review their ideas...or worse.
Now, someone please tell me how the heck I can hide the launchbar that covers over the lefthand of my applications.
Also, why am I able to add some applications to the launcher but not others? How does one add an app when right-clicking on the launcher icon while the app is running does not reveal an "add to launcher" option?
UNITY IS ALL-AROUND FUNCTIONAL UBERFAIL. The beginning of the end. Wait, maybe that's too harsh...FUBAR may be better adjective.
