Hello all,

as i said, i'm on 10.10 version currently with (upgraded) kernel 3.1 : how to 11.10 (release) upgrade ? ¿should there not be a problem when upgrading to 11.04 and then to 11.10 being 3.1 version my current kernel ?

thanks beforehand for your help :)

You probably added source to install 3.1 kernel.Install one wich comes with your release and then remove upgraded one. After that upgrade to 11.04 and then to 11.10.

Hello Zvacet, thanks for your reply.

In the kernel upgrading process i "manually" downloaded and upgraded the kernel from the official site, instead of adding source...

In any case, ¿should i guess is that your suggested procedure for release upgrading remains valid ?

thanks again

Yes,just in case remove updated kernel (before you do that install older one wich comes with release) and then do upgrade.
