Attempting to install Ubuntu 11.10 64bit dual boot with win 7.
Installing from a USB, detection of the installer works fine, select "install ubuntu on a hard drive" then enter a dos "esk" screen where it seems to check various computer specs etc before entering the actual setup.
It then hangs at the following line:
[ 16.541723] [drm] nouveau 0000:02:00.0: TV-1 has no encoders, removing
I have left it sitting there for a few hours with no result and restarted several times. I have also tried booting directly into ubuntu as opposed to installing to see if this makes any difference with no joy (hangs at the same line), also a fresh installer in case this was the problem with no joy.
Help/ Ideas?

Mike.
