After a recent update, my computer suddenly shutdown few hours later...I was initially discouraged by the amount of work that I lost as a result. Then the computer won't boot normally... It booted up to a point. I can see and select to get into 'recovery mode', etc...but in normal mode, it just flickered.... now, after reading threads after thread online, I thought I fixed the problem but it was a small solution to the problem.
I am able to somehow manage to login but after installing kubuntu. Now, the problem is that it seems the mouse is sensitive to the resolution... whenever I touch the mouse, the screen flickers and sends me back to the logon screen..
