Does this ever happen to you guys? I'll open a link (it seems to happen a lot with bbc news articles), and some line of text looks kind of cut in half or something. What's even weirder is if I highlight it, it fixes itself.

I'm using the latest chromium update (16.0.912.77) on ubuntu lucid.

Notice the text on the bottom right about the precincts reporting.

I've never had that, but I thought the overall font rendering in Chromium sucks so bad compared to Firefox that I went back to Firefox. It doesn't make a lot of sense. I don't know why it would be that way.

I still prefer chromium over firefox currently, and this is but a minor annoyance for me. Whats weird is I've only found it happens on the BBC news website, don't know what that's about.

I have had the same issue, but only on gawker media sites(gizmodo, lifehacker, etc.) a page refresh will clean it up but that shouldnt be necessary. Pretty sure its a chromium issue, as it does not happen in firefox. Colors seem better in FF too.

Running 12.04 Dual boot with Win7 on Acer AspireOne Atom N455 2GB ram 250gb :p
