icon on left side of window border not showing up. "firefox icon on firefox window"

Hey I have run into a problem. I noticed on the left side of my window border, the icon for the application is not showing up. (The firefox icon on firefox windows and the terminal icon on the terminal window and etc.) I am not talking about the minimze,maximize,close. I recently reinstalled ubuntu on my pc, on my previous install the icon was showing up and now it is not and I was using the exact same theme. If you don't know what icon I am talking about I will add a link to a screen shot. How do I get my icon to show up?

Is this really in Lubuntu as the forum post shows, or are you running Ubuntu and unity, which is rather like the pic appears to show?

I am running ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat. I meant to post under ubuntu not lubuntu. Sorry for that. Can you still help me out? Or do I need to make a new thread?
