Compile and install Kernel 3.2.4 for Natty

Current Kernel 2.6.38-13-generic #55-Ubuntu

Is it possible, important and or relative that I should install the newest kernel? Or patch it?

I have tried and failed. it may have been the method or possibly the user not sure which at this point. It can't be that hard to do.

I would like to find a simple way to install the latest kernel in natty. Without breaking my system!
