Please Help, installing Wings3d in Ubuntu 11.10

Wings 3d of any version won't run in my Ubuntu 11.10, even tried installing the Windows installer through wine.

Can you be more specific about "won't run in my Ubuntu 11.10"? What happens when you try? Do you get any error messages?

Wings3d is available in the official ubuntu repositories, so there is no need to install the windows version. You can find it in the Software Centre, or via command line:

sudo apt-get install wings3d

I just installed it and started fine (also 11.10).
