Screenlet - Wallpaper Clock

Using Ubuntu 11.10....not all screenlets work. I specifically wanted wallpaper clock screenlet. I installed and and subsequently went on to install a wallpaper clock as well. Unfortunately when I click on change wallpaper-clock and select the wallpaper-clock i want, nothing happens. I still dont get my wallpaper clock to show. I'm using 64 bit Ubuntu.

Hi, Im having the same issue. Does anyone have a fix?

The screenlet was last updated in 2008 , so there may be a compatibility issue with Gnome 3 if using 11.10 . I would think it would work on 10.04 though.

i would recommend conky for on screen clocks ,,, there are plenty of ecamples of both analogue looking and digital and many other looks too
