I am having a wireless network problem with version 11.10 (Ocelot) Ubuntu. I always set my wireless connections to require manual log-in (I do everything that way, forces me pay attention), but I am having a VERY annoying problem with my wireless automatically connecting to the router where I am staying. I added and edited a wireless profile and unchecked the "Connect automatically" box, but whenever I boot up the system it adds a profile to my Network Connections that connects to the wireless router automatically and seems to "ignore" the profile I added and edited for this router. Furthermore, always delete this "new" profile, but it keeps getting generated it again. Has anyone else experienced this, suggestions, explanations? Please help.
