Hi,

I'm using GNOME 3 on Ubuntu 11.10, and there is a empty space on my top menu bar that I can't seem to get rid of:

I've tried right clicking, and nothing happens. I can't figure how to move the menu bar icons around so that annoying space isn't there. (Obviously, it's between the volume icon and the Bluetooth icon.)

I'd like to add that it only seems to occur on my virtual machine. I just got 11.10 installed natively onto my ThinkPad, and the menu bar here seems fine.
