debian package issue_Ubuntu 10.04

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask my question. I am facing an issue where after the installation of a debian package (locally made package), the installed folders seems to be getting deleted automatically, but, the status of package is shown as installed. As the folders are getting deleted, none of the services are running.

Can somebody please help me with this?
