Ok, sometimes when im browsing the web people copy and paste hyperlinks but like sometimes the first letter doens't get pasted.

So instead of clicking on http://ubuntuforums.org/ it might be ttp://ubuntuforums.org/

If you click on the link it'll say "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, the protocall (ttp) isn't asciociated with anything.

Is there an extension for Firefox that will automatically add the missing letters of the original HTTP to the link before it trys to access it. I think the original Mozilla Suite (now SeaMonkey) did this.

Hi-
Well I don't know if there is a plugin for that.
What I do to solve this pbm which can prove to be irritating in the long run is this:
I copy the link from right to left and stop at ubuntuforums.org and then I paste it in and Enter. The http:// come up clean, no missing letters!

Or you could just click in the hyperlink before the "T" and add an "H". That would fix it too..
