I have several distributions on my desktop, including Ubuntu 10.04-LTS and the latest 12.04-LTS to which I am getting used.
10.04 just updated the kernel to 2.6.38 and mistakenly I removed the 3 files of 2.6.37 in synaptic .
But now when booting , 10.04 asks that I first load the kernel.
My Ubuntu 10.04 LTS is on Partition /dev/sda2 . I realize that I need to boot from the USB and reinstall or activate the new kernel but don't know how it is done.
Any help appreciated
Problem solved.
Thank you all
