Hi everyone,
I have an HP 6715b laptop on which I had Ubuntu 10.04 running. At some stage, I upgraded o 10.10. I hen later tried upgrading to 11.04 and 11.10, but after installation my machine would not boot at all.
I then re-installed 10.04 and updated it to 10.10 using the Update Manager as discussed here: http://www.howtoforge.com/how-to-upgrade-ubuntu-10.04-lucid-lynx-to-10.10-maverick-meerkat-desktop-and-server
Problem is, after the upgrade, I restarted the laptop and all I get is a blank screen. No cursor at all, nothing. Does anyone know why I could run 10.10 earlier, but now I cannot use it when I upgrade from 10.04 using the Update Manager?
