Hello!
I have installed ubuntu 11.10 to my laptop. I've made on D - "/" "/home" and "swap". C - is windows 7. When I try to load windows 7 from grub, it takes only 5 second loading windows then interrupts and restarts computer transferring me into grub again. Ubuntu works fine. What can I do to fix this problem? Thanks!

What do you mean by D: ? Ubuntu doesn't use letters for partitions and windows only assigns letters to NTFS partitions which ubuntu can't install on.
So it can't be on D: unless it's a wubi install inside windows.

If you needed to shrink the windows partition, did you do it during the ubuntu install or before that?
