Pretty decent. You've kept it simple and friendly, just what the OP needed.

kansasnoob, you did a wonderful job of responding! If Ubuntu Forums had sound, you would have heard me hooting with laughter at the below quote...

Most seniors have lost the capacity to learn new high tech stuff, whilst they fall closer toward death. Your newness is like torture to them when they can't run it without exploring to learn the inner workings of it. And soon you will be a senior too, and complaining about the same black cultural stain. stinging their lives today. What's wrong with that picture? What's the very best OS in the world for older people? What's the second best?

I don't know where they found their seniors, but the ones I hang around with are pretty darned smart, and now that we're all retired we're having a great time finding new things to learn about.

That isn't meant to dismiss the fact that many suffer from physical disabilities and medical problems, and certainly no one, no matter what age they are, wants to spend precious time and energy learning things that don't interest them...but that doesn't mean a lost capacity to learn. Learning new things keeps us alive and involved.

And the "closer toward death" thing just means we appreciate our time much more, doesn't mean we quit everything just so we can wait to die...sheesh...such nonsense.

LOL, kansasnoob, I think you must be the most patient person in the world to have responded so nicely.
