Hi,

I recently bought a ZOTAC ZBOX HD-ND22-E SFF SU2300 1.2 ION WIFI-N (http://pden.zotac.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&product_id=275) to use with XBMC. I am following this guide: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=XBMCbuntu

Anyway, the problem here is that I can't get past booting this thing up. I already have one Ubuntu based server up and running with so I am not a total novice, but everytime I try to install the Ubuntu Minimal 11.10 on this Zotac-computer it fails.

The installation works fine. I can go through all steps without any signs of error, and when I finally boot it up all I get is this screen: http://imgur.com/29a1w

It is quite frustrating since I don't get any error codes or other stuff that can give me a hint where the problem itself might originate from.

When starting the computer I see the Zotac boot screen, everything goes black, I get a blinking line in the top left corner, it goes black and then I get the lines as the earlier picture describes.

I actually tried installing another distro, more exactly Linux Mint which worked perfectly fine. The installation was fine, I could boot in and do my stuff. Though I feel more comfortable with Ubuntu, hence the reason I want it installed, plus this makes me feel that this problem shouldn't be directly related to the hardware itself(hardware malfunction).

Anyone that have been in the same boat here, or might have an idea on what you can do?
