I HAVE EXPERIENCED TWO SEPARATE INSTANCES ( TWO COMPUTERS - ONE DESKTOP , ONE NOTEBOOK ) WHERE AFTER SUCESSFULLY INSTALLING MULTIBOOTING WITH UBUNTU ON EXISTING VISTA; ADDITIONAL WINDOWS UPDATING PROCESSES HAVE RESULTED IN THE WINDOWS VISTA INSTALLATION BEING DECLARED TO BE INVALID AND REQUIRING A VALIDATION PROCESS TO BE INITIATED.

I AM IN THE PROCESS OF DOING A BARE METAL REINSTALL AND FURTHER INVESTIGATION.

ANY INFORMATION ON THIS SUBJECT (UBUNTU MULTIBOOT AFTER WINDOWS IS INSTALLED VOIDS CURRENT VALIDATION.) WILL BE APPRECIATED.

How did you shrink the Windows Vista partition?
